Extra Thick Strip Steak

Yeah, it seems like I can't stop talking about steak, but this is the first time I've gotten and extra thick strip steak.  One advantage is that you might get more of that good flavor you get in a roast.  Another upside is that with this thick cut steak, you might only need one steak for the whole family (but in the end, I also cooked some sausages for Alex).
